Listen guys, ever since Vivo sent out its exclusive invites for “T4 Pro – India’s new powerhouse”, there has been only one discussion in my WhatsApp groups – “Will this phone really deliver amazing performance under ₹25k?” The launch event is today, I was there myself and have brought you every detail you need – from the price to the actual first look. So sip some tea, and read the blog leisurely, as if a friend is telling you everything.
First Look
As soon as the lights went off on the stage and the curtain was removed, there was a matte-finish glass back on which rainbow-like reflections were shining. There are three color options:
- Cosmic Blue – Blue like the depths of the ocean
- Aurora Glow – Green-purple shades like the aurora of the north
- Graphite Black – Classic, for office-joint guys
The curved edge 3D glass and 7.4mm thin body make it feel premium when you hold it. The fingerprint sensor on the side is no longer in-display but in the power button – I personally found it faster, especially while wearing a mask.
Display
6.67 inch FHD+ AMOLED panel, 120 Hz refresh rate and 1300 nits peak brightness. I kept the screen on even in the sun outside, no struggle. It is HDR10+ certified, played “Our Planet” on Netflix – the blacks were so deep that the borders were not visible.
Performance: Dimensity 7300
MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, built on 4 nm process. I played BGMI for 30 minutes (HDR + Extreme), there were no frame drops. The back panel got a little warm, but did not go above 43°C – Vapour Chamber cooling is working.
AnTuTu Score: 7,42,000 (Lab Test)
Storage variants:
- 8GB + 128GB – ₹23,999
- 8GB + 256GB – ₹25,999
- 12GB + 256GB – ₹27,999
UFS 3.1 storage, apps did not reload in multitasking. One thing I really liked – “Extended RAM 3.0”, the 12 GB variant gets 12 GB more virtual RAM. Meaning you can expand up to 24 GB!
Camera: 50 MP Sony IMX882 + OIS
Rear setup:
- 50 MP main (f/1.79, OIS)
- 8 MP ultra-wide (120° FOV)
- 2 MP Macro (4 cm focus)
- Daylight sample: The blue of the sky and the green of the trees are completely natural.
- Night mode: Even 3-second hand-held shots are sharp thanks to OIS. You can see in the photo below that details are intact despite the street lights.
- Front Camera: 32 MP, f/2.0 – Selfies keep skin tones natural, remember to turn off the beauty filter or else it will look “plastic”.
- Video: 4K @ 30 fps from rear, 1080p @ 60 fps from front. EIS + OIS dual stabilization, I recorded while cycling – the footage was smooth.
Battery: 5500mAh + 80W FlashCharge
- Charged 100% at 7am, 23% left at 11pm – my usage: 2 hours Instagram, 1 hour BGMI, 45 minutes calls, rest WhatsApp.
- 80 W charger is free in the box! 0 to 50% just 19 minutes, full charge 42 minutes. The charger is a bit big, but the cable is USB-C to C, it works with a laptop too.
Software: Funtouch OS 14, 2 Years Update Guarantee
- Android 14 based, bloatware is less. There were only 5 pre-installed apps that can be uninstalled. Vivo promises 2 major OS updates + 3 years of security patches.
- “Dynamic Island” like feature – “Live Window” – Music, call, ride sharing alerts in small bubbles on top of the screen. iPhone like feel, but on Android!

My Real Experience
Plus points:
- Design Premium, Light Weight
- The display is great even in sunlight
- Battery lasts all day, charger free
- Camera with OIS, better night mode
Minus points:
- Ultra-wide camera average
- No wireless charging (This is not considered a minus in the ₹25k range, but I told you anyway)
If your budget is around ₹25k and you want “everything – gaming, camera, battery” – then Vivo T4 Pro is perfect. You get better build quality and less bloatware here than Redmi or Realme.
